Web Dev Tools Base is a free library of 1,122 browser-based developer tools and practical guides. Every tool runs on your device — files and input never leave your browser, there is no signup, and nothing is stored on a server. The site is built and maintained by Takenick Innovation.

Uddhav founded Web Dev Tools Base and edits everything on it. He writes the guides, builds the tools, and reviews each page before it ships. He does not claim professional certifications; the site's standard is that every guide must be reproducible: follow the steps shown and you get the result shown.

How pages are reviewed

Every tool and guide goes through the same review before publishing: the tool is run with real test files (valid and invalid inputs), the guide's steps are followed end-to-end, and the page is checked for broken links, missing assets, and readability. After publishing, pages are re-checked when tools change and on a rolling audit of the whole site.

Guides state what they verified and when ("Reviewed 2026-09-27"), and worked examples use real inputs you can reproduce. If a result ever looks wrong, that is treated as a defect, not a disagreement.

How the site pays for itself

Web Dev Tools Base is free because it is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads; ad slots are marked and never styled to look like content or tool output. No advertiser pays for placement, coverage, or a favourable review, and no guide is written to promote a product.
